That long hair symbolises past eight years for her when she was her sister's warrantor and had to pay a debt instead of her. Irena can't wait to cut and throw away her long hair as a symbol of bad experiences and a new haircut is a beginning of new life for her. She feels not a bit regret just delight when her hair is falling on the floor and it's a big relief for her. After much cutting, buzzing and coloring there is a brand-new woman at the end. Irena likes her new haircut immediately and is satisfied with the result.
